We love celebrating the various seasons of the year at Isaiah’s Table. Each week during Advent we light an Advent candle at the beginning of worship which lights the way on our journey to Bethlehem. Each candle has a name/theme for worship. They are Hope, Love, Peace and Joy for 2025.
For Spiritual Nurture on Wednesday evenings we are engaged in a contemplative video study called Waiting, Watching and Wondering.
On December 20th, to fully live into the theme of JOY we will distribute a bag of home-baked cookies to our breakfast guests. And after worship we will have some festive games followed by a potluck luncheon at noon.
We no longer hold Christmas Eve services. Instead we encourage all to attend the plethora of services offered by churches all around the city and county.
We finish up this season recognizing Epiphany with the annual distribution of “Star Words” offering a word or two for each worshiper to guide them in the new year.
May this season bring your many blessings and much hope, love, peace and joy!
