Isaiah’s Table: Grace, Hope, Food for All is a faith community which began within the First Presbyterian Church United with East Genesee Presbyterian Church (FPCU) of Syracuse and then became a new fellowship after the congregation of FPCU was dissolved on April 8, 2012.
The vote to dissolve the congregation was made in October 2011, and a week later a group of 15 members of FPCU began a process called “Starting New Churches” which comes out of the Evangelism and Church Growth Office of the PCUSA denomination. This group met weekly after worship for 6 months to discern what the new faith community might become.
Isaiah’s Table‘s ministry is to provide both spiritual and actual food to all who come to the table.
Isaiah’s Table is committed to ministry in the near-westside neighborhood of Syracuse in which we are located.
